Do I have to do this from underneath the dash or is the stock grille on the dash removable? It didn't seem like it but if there's a trick to removing it I'd love to know how! Gotta replace 'em to make my new system complete.

Thanks
Steve

The top peice of the dash closest to the windsheild is removable. You'll need a small torks bit, and don't drop your tools down the defrost vent.

Thanks! Gonna go replace 'em before I blow 'em out with the new stereo I just put in.

Heh, Torks bit? :) (torx)

Be sure to install some bass blockers at ~200 Hz so the new 3 1/2"s don't tear themselves up trying to reproduce frequencies they weren't designed to handle.

Thanks Doug. I did some searching last night and found that the front 3 1/2's are pretty susceptible(SP) to damage if the Bass locker's aren't installed. Can't wait to hear what this system sounds like with all the speakers in place! I'll finally have CD in the GN! :D

Thanks
Steve
