My t-type is at 150k ish. It is one heck of a bouncy ride. The front end; well it has a lot of float. It sits fairly low, the tires look good in the wheel openings, which leads me to believe the shocks are gone and perhaps it is time for new springs...

How do you determine if springs are worn out? The shocks are KYB's, my 87 grand national rode all "floaty" like this with the worn out monroe shocks. I changed them over to Bilsteins and it rode great. The shocks are bouncy, I'm thinking of swapping out the KYB's for Bilsteins or similar.

What is a slight improvement spring over stock? Camaro coils with one coil cut out? I want something stiffer, maybe 1" or slightly more drop from stock. I think this will go a long way toward improving braking and handling.

3rd Gen 1LEs with a loop cut off, are what I have on my car. Be advised they really firm up the ride. But, with Bilsteins, the car does handle well.
