hello peoples: Walnut blasting. A co worker with a fairly new Mazda just had her head done. She kept getting an engine light. She had that and new injectors. $1100 I've heard of blasting with different media but I thought U would have to have a bare head.
That's a new one on me and the work was completed yesterday.

That's how jet engine turbine wheels are cleaned.
Rev it up feed it a load of walnut shells.
That Mazda may have direct inj and could have had high crud build up on the back of the intake valves.
"Back in the day" we used a bottle of water. Rev that bitch up and give it a slug of h2o. The steam knocks the crud off the valves and tops of the pistons.
A good example is a blown head gasket on your V sicks... Comb chamber and piston may look very clean.
