I have been told by someone locally to me that these cars produce 10hp per PSI increased.

Im interested to know how true this is.

modded motors with larger turbos , heads and cam do much better than 10hp per psi

stock they were rated 245hp from factory at 14 psi , and ran 14.3
3600 lb at at 14.3 using HP calculators is about right for 245hp

if you add boost you add heat to the charge air (approx 10degreesF for every psi so 21 psi = 210 degrees over the ambient inlet air temp before the intercooler ) , if you can drop the charge air temp while increasing boost the gains will be greater than the 10hp/psi rule
last night on stock turbo stock longblock and with alky my 87 went 12.3 108 at 21psi (inlet temps were 100degF)
that calcs just over 360hp for my race weight of 3580lbs

7 psi for 100hp comes out to 15hp per psi
gain goes down as you push harder

That is very interesting. I will have to do more research.
