Hurst roll control

Bought a line-lock a few years ago and my buddy promptly borrowed it and put it on his car.
He's gone now (long story) and all I have is the lock with 2 wires sticking out of it.
Anybody know how to hook it up?

red wire to button that is tied in to switched power and black wire to ground

Gee, I thought they went to the solenoid...

The two wires sticking out are from the solenid and black goes to ground and the red goes to the button that is wired to switched power
