Starting to play with hydro dipping.. My first bracket, no clear coat yet.. Tomorrow will be all cold side piping and V.Covers

I'd never heard of this, so I did some searching and reading. Looks like you have the technique down pat; parts look great. I doubt I'll ever try it though, friends don't let Carl hold aerosol paint cans :-) :-). I'd never get an even coating of the activator.

Its alot harder to do than in the videos on youtube.. They make it look simple. Alot of prep, special hydrographic paint. Flat parts are cake.. The curves and contours are the hard part. Air bubbles are the killer. I did the radiator support 3 times. Still learning. . And testing different brand films and carbon fiber patterns. This is a true weave pattern. Yes, the activator his tricky. Too much the film comes off and won't etch the part. Too little you get little holes throughout the part.
