The switch that came with my kit has been a piece of crap since day one. I had it set at 15psi, and then the other day it stopped coming on. So I adjusted it a little (maybe 1/8 turn at most) and nothing. I adjusted it 1/4 turn and bosted to 17psi and nothing. Then I get on it and it comes on at 4psi:mad: So I have to punch it so my car doesnt flood. I am going to try cleaning it out with every substance known to man tonight but where can I get another switch for my system? I just dont like the style of this one. This one has always been inconsistent.

Thanks. I'm looking for a switch to turn on a 7th injector at around 22psi. I'll have to try this and see if it works.

Well I definitely need another switch now since I lost a piece to mine when I took it apart tonight:eek:
Can that switch be ordered through Summit or the NOS website?

What pressure are the switches set to out of the box? I had that very switch burn up on me after a year of use, so I just installed another. Wondering if I need to alter the setting to what I desire (15psi)? Last time I ordered, they assured me that they came set at 15psi.

how do you adjust this type of switch up/down? is there some sort of set screw? this is the one you refer to on your website's DIY alky setup parts list correct Steve?

ok i see. i emailed you last nite about my setup i was thinking about but you convinced me that i should probably not deviate from what you have laid out on your site. after all its worked for many others:D the realy you refer to though, can this be had at any radio shack? and what do you mean when you say relay pole #84, #85, etc? are the different terminals on the realy labeled? electronics confuse me a lot sometimes:confused: :D the Hobbs switch that you now use the you refer to in your last post is available from summit or a local speed shop correct? in fact, if i just print out the list rom your site and take it to a local speed shop they should be able to get me all the parts? i just wanting an adjustable Hobbs switch i can set to around 10 psi.
BTW, what does it mean when you say "15 lbs normally open" when referring to the Hobbs? whats normally open mean?

thanks:)

Yes you can get the four prong relay from radio shack for $5. Thats where I got mine
I got the NOS switch from the speed shop. You can order the fuel pump from any parts store. Make sure you dont get an in tank one for this set up.

15# normally open means when you open the package and take the switch out it is preset to come on at 15psi (approximately)
It can be adjusted up or down from that setting.
I suggest buying a mity vac with a gauge, it makes setting the switch a million times easier
