Finally!:D After all that hard work and five long years, I finally bought a TR. I just love this thing. Its a WH-1 and has 124k on it. Ive had it for a little while now, but still have alot to do to it. It is in okay shape; some rust. I am the fourth owner and it was a Massachussets car. The body is solid, and the interior is immaculate. It runs okay, but I still need to do alot of work to it. I already had to put a trans in it; after five weeks of ownership. The motor is solid, and I intend to replace the valvesprings and timing chain. Will be getting a 340 and hotwire next week.

The car has a Kirban 3 inch downpipe, high-flow cat; and the Hooker cat back. It sounds great. Also has the missing bushings and the front frame braces. All the normal stuff (adj.WG, AFPR,) and gauges too. I plan to port the elbow, and get the TB/plenum ported too. The wiring has been hacked all up. I have major problems. No interior lights, and no cigarrette lighter.

I dont have pics yet, but will post them ASAP.

Time to go for a drive!!:D

There are 82 codes on the RPO sticker. I also have the original window sticker, the body order broadcast sheet; and the build sheet from inside the door. It was originally sold by Cernak Buick in Easthampton Massachussets, and was built in Pontiac, Michigan. The RPO sticker, build sheet; and body order sheet were all signed by Molly. I bought the car off of Dennis Kirban. Price at delivery was $16, 876.00; after options and delivery.

HTH

Any to tell what number WH-1 I have?

Thanks

$16k for a T Type with 124k miles??? Is this the same one that was on Kirbans site?? If so and you actually paid $16k for it,ill ask you a question...Why? Tops it was worth $6k.

Just my $.02 and im praying that was a typo on your end or I will NEVER buy anything from Kirbans again.

I think he meant the car was that price new.... at time of delivery... to the dealership. I could be wrong though.

LOL, that was the original price on the window sticker. I paid $6400 for the car. Kirban is okay, he is nice to work with.
