I cant figure it out????

85 fully rebuilt runs great no oil pressure been on the phone with ta for 3 days they cant figure it out either tryed to prime it ,changed oil pumps ,put extra oil in it ,nouthing pulling my hair out please help

did you put the oil pickup tube in?

the tube under the pan? unfortunatly i did not build the engine but i have aanouther fully complete 85 engine at home and for sh9t and giggles i went there and pulled the cam senser and used the drill and tool to try and prime that one and same situation no oil sooo unless both pick up tubes are off both engines idk then

i will have a fiber optic camra tommorow to stick in the pan so i will know if it came off or not tim at TA said there is only 2 bolts that hold it on and if it wasnt tightened right it could of came off ...

Are you packing the pump with vaseline before you put it together ? That's what I had to de to get the pump to prime when I rebuilt my engine.

no i didnt yet i think im gonna drop then pan tommorow and look at the pick up tube

stick a piece of wire up into the pan thru the oil drain hole and see if it catches on anything.. the pickup sits about 1/4" off the bottom of the pan and it will be pretty obvious if it's either not on or loose..
