The car idles fine but when I put it in gear it starts to shake and the fake lil boost gauge moves back and forth :wtf:
 
What have you changed lately? Perhaps the motor is missing which is felt more in gear?
Nothing changed I just got the car running 5 months ago and recently connected the tc to the flywheel. I was thinking maybe it was low on fluid??? But you might have something the car runs great at idle even when I took it up the street it was fine just with my foot on the break in gear it does this
 
Do you have the brake switch wired wrong where it is locking the converter when you apply the brakes?

If the vibration is not felt in Park, it's unlikely that the converter is the issue. If it was out of balance it'd shake at all times. Have you serviced the plugs/wires yet on this car? Even if you have, you could have a defective plug wire or a loose connection on the coil or a plug.

Everything is all new but I will inspect the wires carefully to make sure it's all good.

I don't think so,I haven't touched the brake switch but when I had the pan down I noticed some wires inside the trans were butt connected and wired different from stock

Maybe unplug the connector from the trans and see if it makes a difference. You said it does it when you have your foot on the brake pedal so I thought that might have something to do with it.
TCC solenoid might be sticking and applying the clutch.

I'm waiting on my new fp should be here this week but I will try what you said btw what's that plug on the trans do???
 
Post a picture of all the wiring in the trans so we can see how it is wired. The transmission is design so it can not lock the converter in first gear.
 
Someone changed the wiring so it locks the converter when the transmission shifts into 4th gear. This isn't your shaking problem.

Thanks, that's a relief I'm leaning more towards low fluid I had a bad leak from the TV cable I forgot to install the grommet...... I know what a dumbasss!!! When the fp arrives I will fire it up and top off the trans and see what happens now that the fluid won't be pouring on the ground as I'm filling it lol
 
Wtf!!! :banghead::banghead: This is killing me, I took her out for a trial run soon as I put it in reverse to back out the garage it started shaking and idling all crazy, then shut off. I have another trans I might just switch them out has anyone ever had this issue? Any info would be much help, thanks
 
This does not sound like a transmission problem, more like an engine problem. Maybe you have a wiring problem? When you put it in gear the engine may be torquing over causing a short or open connection somewhere in the wiring harness? I assume this is a hot air car which I am not too familliar with so maybe someone else can chime in.

The wiring in the trans was changed and the external plug had only one wire coming from the connector it was jimmy rigged so i took the plug off the trans and I'm using the original one that came on my car now maybe that's why it was wired different for some reason and since I changed the elect connection back to factory it's a wrong now because of the way the internal trans wires are connected
