i have a question

On the scanmaster it displayes my o2 and retard degrees at WOT the o2 begins to record and the retard degrees begin to show numbers what excatly is the retard degrees?? And what should it read and how would i adjust what it says?

The retard degrees is how much timing the computer is pulling out because it is seeing knock. You always want to tune your car for zero knock. Your o2's should be somewhere between 780-810.
To tune it, you should first do the spring cleaning at www.gnttype.org. Then you might have to turn the boost down to get rid of the knock or more fuel pressure or get less timing in your chip. You should also make sure it's not false knock. You can also get rid of knock by raising the octane of the gas you are using (toulene,xylene,race gas,etc.). I don't know what octane you are using now or the specs of your chip but these are some things you can try. Best bet is to get a chip burned for you setup by one of the many chip burners on this site and keep getting them to tweak it until you have it running the way you want. It takes time to get it right but once you do you'll be happy. Just go slow so you don't blow anything up. Almost forgot, you can install alky injection to help with knock, but you still have to have your car tuned right, there are alot of good systems out there (DIY,SMC) and guys like Razor who are making cool products to help make tuning with alky easier. The o2 millivolts is the air/fuel ratio. Retard degrees displayed on the right indicate timing retard in response to knock sensor signals. The less the better..... . If you see retard, there is either too much boost, not enough octane or fuel delivery, or something else setting off your knock detector. When I use race gas I can really turn up the boost and see zero degrees of retard.
