I have an Alky Control test kit from Razor and the little rubber plug from the liquid filled gauge came out and spilled an oil substance all over my glove box. What kind of oil can I fill it back up with?

Usually it's glycerin available perhaps at drug stores, or aviation gauge refill liquid should work which is probably available online.

Wonder if the plug could be glued down? Or at least wrapped so it stays in place.
