i need help with my 4.1 swap. carb issues.

I only know the basics of carbs... 3.8 Buick with a rare 4.1 4bbl intake. I know the throttle goes on top, and the transmission is on the bottom. This quad's throttle opens up towards the firewall of the car. I am told that is supposed to be right.? My Throttle cable is the original 3.8 V6 cable. It pushes out towards the front of the car.

When i hook up everything on this Carb, and the return springs, The Pedal inside the car is stuck to the floor. Bcuz the original cable pushes out, there is no further travel. So i must be missing something, or need a 4.1 special throttle cable? Those who have done the 4.1 swap. What all do i need here ??? I have nearly everything, just trying to figure this out... and the stock fuel line issue. I know it had a CCC? Carb. I think I'm missing a part of the bracket to the carb, it is from a 76-77 Caddy 425.

Is this what i am missing or what?

Help me out here. I have next to zero carb knowledge.

Someone has told me there was a year with a non-ccc carb, 1980 or 1981. Is that true ?
