Hey guys, i'm getting ready to install my NLR AMS 1000 boost controller, and i'd like to see what everyone else has done in regards to solenoid plumbing, location, etc... I'd like to do this once, and do it right. Pics are always very helpful!! thanks in advance.

Freddy, I mounted mine to the two middle AC vent ducts in the dash. I then ran the wires into the vent. I recommend mounting the solenoids as close to the wastegate as you can. Thanks for the call today.

Thanks for all the help Cal. Do you reccomend rigid mounding the solenoids directly on the wastegate, or using a length of 4AN to remote mount them?

Claude, thanx for the links, i hope we'll see you at Napierville a little more often this year?

Originally, I had mine mounted directly to the wastegate. Twice, engine vibration ended up cracking a fitting. I ended up swapping to a short -4 line and mounted the solenoids to the plastic inner fender.

Ok, i pretty much have the physical install aspect done, now some wiring questions..

1. Do i use the new MAP sensor (supplied with the controller) for both the FAST and The controller, or do i use the original 3-bar GM MAP for the FAST system?

2. Where do i get a signal for the activation? I'm using the transbrake for the clutch signal, is this correct?

3. Do i plug the remaining holes in the solenoids? I lpumbed the solenoids as instructed, and it says to plug the exhaust port of the increase solenoid, but do the EXH and OUT of the decrease solenoid stay open?

Just waiting on this info to go and try it out!! Thanks for any help you can give guys!!!
