I think I have narrowed this noise down to the downpipe/puck

Improper assembly, inferior materials, incorrect machining. Wouldn't be the first one to go bad...

Looking at it, it's actually closer to only 150 miles on it. Is it an issue with the air cooled DBB cartridge? Only other time I had a turbo actually fail was from oil contamination when the car ate a budget roller cam in the early 2000s

Sent an email to precision's service department. Hopefully will hear their opinion soon. For now I am going to look for a used turbo (hopefully under $500) to throw on till I get this taken care of.
