I Think I Just Blew My Turbo? Please Help

Ok I Just Got A Boost Controller And Put It On Play With It A Little And I Went For A Ride, Well I Had 20PPSI Before And When I Turn The Knob It Had 17PSI And I Opened The Valve Up And Went To 30PSI I Let Out Of It Right Now When I Seen That And It Made A Very Small Hiss Sound And No Boost, Well When You Try To Boost It Up It Sounds Like A Supercharger?? What Could That Be?? I Look At The Turbo Blades And All I Could Find Is That The Exsust Side Has Some Slop,, Could I Have A Bad Bearing?? No Smoke And I Dont Belive It Blew A Head Gasket, Oil Looks Good Checked All Hoses Etc,

When you say the exhaust side has some slop in it are you referreing to "In out play" or just some side to side play?

As you know in out play is bad very bad even if it is ever so slight.

BTW what was the boost controller that you used? And if i'm not mistaken 30psi should not have been too much for your turbo to handle. Hmmmmm.

can you push the wheel over and make it touch the housing?

get a flash ligh and check the entire lenth of the blades to look for a chunk missing

i know the sound your talking about tooooooo well

I Took The DP Off And The Blades Are Broke And When I Spin It It Dont Spin Like It Used To, Freely It Tight Now,,
I Checked All The Hoses And They Are All Intach,,

I Have Found A TE-62 That I Have Made A Deal With A Guy On,
Just Waiting On The Money,,

just wondering cause 51-52's have 10 blade wheel and they're the only ones i know of with 10 blades so i usually ask about different ones...just for knowledge..
