American Music Awards show, what a waste of time. Cedric the entertainer was not funny as MC, was painful to watch. Highlight of the show was the 2nd dress that Mariah Carey was wearing. How those puppies didn't do a Janet Jackson is beyond me. (I don't mind watching one of her videos as long as the sound is off)

Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff should stick to making crappy movies, oh my ears!

And what is with Gwen Stefani? Is she now a rapper?

They kept plugging the Rolling Stones appearing so this old dinosaur hung in there as they closed the show and they weren't even there it was via satellite and the sound was awful. Then during their 2nd song the show goes to commerical!

Someone at work yesterday was playing a Mariah Carey CD. I kept hearing some singer worbelling over and over, a co-worker told me it was Mariah since the volume was kept pretty low. After a 1/2 hour of that sick crying cat sound I was annoyed.

Actually, was multi-tasking for the first two hours of it. Business stuff with the TV going in the office. Watched the last hour in my living room.

They should have had that Shakira chick perform, at least that would have been entertaining.

Heard somewhere that it was the lowest rated AMA's ever. With good reason, IMO. My wife had it on for a little bit, and it was terrible. The state of music nowadays is pathetic.

Yeah, think that was the beginning of the end with music awards shows. I do like Tull though, they just are not heavy metal, don't know why they were even in that category.

The CMA's were a decent show if you are into country at all. The performances were all pretty good. Just not crazy about the Ken & Barbie of country (Tim McGraw and Faith Hill)
