I want your opionion on where to buy/build ann GN engine!!??

Hey guys, a friend of mine has a GN he has owned for awhile. He went to the carwash the other day and washed the motor and now the car has a miss we cant find We have checked everything that we know of.

The car has had plenty of time to "dry" out.

He is pissed with the miss and told me last night he would sell me the car,

Ok worst case scenario, the motor wore a cam lobe or something and the wash job was a coincidence Where, who and how should I build his motor if I buy the car. It is a very nice car (really) and I can buy it for 9k. Was wondering where to go to "tune" the motor or maybe a complete rebuild . I would like a 11 sec street machine.

Yes I know Jersey (njturbo) I may have to rent storage for the car, the Fatboy is staying in the garage. Havent told my wife yet I am thinking of buying his GN,,,maybe it can be "hers"

Contact Nick and if he thinks your are better off in your area , he will tell you. But at least you have an honest piece of mind. He will listen to what you are trying to accomplish or build and make a reccomendation as to who and what to build from there. That is what I would do.
