Iac Not Adjusting

SOME TEC HELP ON 87 GN.....THE IAC COUNT IS STAYING AT 150...IS NOT ADJUSTING.......I KNOW THAT IT TARGET SETING IS ABOUT 30 at the low point... NEED HELP.. CHECK NO CODE'S ...JUST TUNE....NEW,Plug's ,WIRES, maf,tps,,knock sensor.:confused:
 
THE READING DOES CHANGE WHEN THE CAR IS ON >TO 89 THEN THE CAR SHUT's OFF AND THE READING GOES TO 150 with the key on ON........THE CAR DOES NOT IDLE...IT START BUT WILL NOT IDLE.CHECK FOR vac Leak no leak....WHERE YOU THINK IS THE PROBLEM......just chage the ecm from my t type to the gn it is still the same. is not ecm?:confused:
 
Remove the IAC & ensure that the spring and cap are not stuck. Adjust so that you have approx 1" from end of cap to IAC body. :)
 
I noticed that you replaced the TPS. Did you do the TPS adjustment first?

Set TPS first, then set IAC counts, then readjust TPS. Repeat if necessary until both setting are in range.

Did it idle before the tune up and sensor changes? I've read here that the rebuilt mafs aren't that great. It may be possible that your new one is bad!
