IAC numbers

So...what would be some possible reasons to have high IAC numbers? I recently reset mine and still have a count around 70.

Try turning the minimum air screw clockwise a little bit to raise idle RPM and lower counts. You will have to adjust TPS anytime you turn the screw -- its a balancing act between the two.

Right. YOu can reset them all day long. Won't do much good unless you actually adjust it to the numbers you want.

Make sure you don't have a coked up throttle body, or lots of oil in there due to blowby or leaky turbo seals. This restricts minimum air flow and causes IAC counts to skyrocket. I like to see about 11 to 20 counts at warm idle with NO loads on the engine.
