Is the lower the number the more air into the motor or the higher the number more air, which way does it go!!!?

higher number means the IAC motor is allowing more air in. the reason you want to adjust it to a low number at idle is that the IAC only has a certain ammount of travel. when you adjust it low, it gives you more operating range of the valve.

i think the bigger number the more air. not sure though
