IAC's 00 or 175!!! Need help......

Iac's are crashing to 00 or they rise to 175....No in the middle ....no matter where I adjust it or reset the computer.

Is this a sign of a bad IAC motor????

Sounds like the ecm thinks the engine is trying to stall. First look, for a vacuum leak, starting with the vac hoses. It doesn't take much of a vac leak to confuse the ecm.

IAC failures, are pretty rare. Usually all they need is a cleaning.

Forgot to mention that the boost dropped from 24 to 15psi@WOT and every once in a while it will shoot back up Maybe two problems at once??

FIXED!!!!

Bad IAC motor!

Swapped with known good one and bango! Iac's are at 20 and idle is good.

Replaced vacuum lines, sprayed motor with TB cleaner,swapped MAF,coil pack,plugs wires,did compression check,checked cam sensor and cracked headers.....All is good now!
