A friend bought a Cutlas and this came with it and was told it was a remanufactured motor for the car.
It looks like a Buick to me, did Olds use the same 3.8? If so then this might be worth keeping. Was supposedly new many years ago and never got put in the car.

olds used the 3.8 buick v6 motor
thats a gm reman (done for GM not by GM) like they were selling a few years back on ebay which had cast pistons ,NA cranks and may not have 8445heads
is it a 20 bolt oil pan 109 or a 14 bolt pan ?
according to the tag its ws an 8-91 rebuild , +.040 overbore on pistons and cut .020/.020 on the crank .
best to leave it where it is

Pontiac used it also in Grand Prix's.
 
Thanks Guys, that answers my questions..... I may just grab it as it is free, so cant beat that for some type of spare for ......I dont know what in the future???
