Idle problem

had problems with smooth idle so i replaced the idle air control(the sensor was all old and corroded. Now the idle is at 2000 rpms and i don't know how to bring them down.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

Assuming that everything is hooked up properly and all gaskets, etc. are there, and also assuming you have a scan tool (preferably) :

The TPS/IAC can take a bit to get the hang of as far as setting them, but once you've done it a few times it's usually a breeze.

The ECM likes to be anywhere from 550-850 rpm at idle.

thanks, ill try that. I re adjusted the tps with a voltometer but it only brought it down a little bit. I just got turbo link so i will be able to do it properly.
