sometimes after driving my car idles at 1100 or so rpm, once it was 950ish. the iac seems to get stuck at a min value( it was like 41 for the 1100) when i revved it the iac went up but didnt drop back down to give the normal idle. when i put it in drive the idle went right to 850. but if i shut the car off and start it right back up the idle is perfect and the iac works normally and reads bout 15 give or take. it is a new iac and the old one did it occasionaly too. i dont think the comp thinks the car is in drive and compensating for that, do i have a toasty comp? it only does this with the car warm after a good drive. the thing also has a wierd KR prob ive been chasing, and today i discovered the KR becomes acceptable in wet weather(less than 2 so far) any ideas which direction i should go with this?

I was thinking maybe TPS is off but the detail in your post seems to indicate that you would have checke that - all the vacuum lines look good?

yep the tps is .44 i should take a closer look at the vacuum though, but the engine doesnt miss or act like it has a bad vacuum leak. i also noticed that the 02 crosscounts almost freeze on me in that high idle, it did it to me this morning.when its idling fast the cc takes just as much time to go up by 10 as it does for the cc to go through a full cycle at normal idle. oh and i think its more the cold weather we've been having lately than the wet weather yesterday. it was completely dry this morning but 28 degrees outside and the KR was still better than normal by about 50%.
