If you only had $1300 for a 200-4R rebuild, and $375 of it was gone right away for labor costs, what of all of the available "good parts" would you purchase for the tranny with the remaining $925? Take into consideration this is a high 10 - low 11 second car (~500hp @ the tire) that weighs ~3675 pounds w/driver, already has a Stageright transbrake, and a Gil Younger shift kit. It is, for all intents and purposes, an OE tranny with 15k miles that seems to have lost 2nd gear. Please be specific with part descriptions and vendors that offer the part. TIA

at 15000 miles you should be ok with a billet drum, and our master overhaul that has a wide band ,all the clutches and steels with race ready linings, all bushings ,all washers ,selective end play washers ,teflon ring kit,all lip seals and gaskets.see url below for more information or give us a call.

Specifically, what all is included in the kit? BTW, for some reason your link is not working???

add 300 bucks to it and buy an complete art carr trans- they make a great tranny

Funny you should say that. One of my buddies Ed Brewer from DC Tech bought 2, one for his T and one for another buddie's GN. Both trannys seem to be holding up fine. However, another buddy of mine just got one and has nothing but trouble with it since day #1 and Art Car is trying to wash their hands of any responsibility. This tranny came with all kinds of wrong parts and has not shifted right since install. The guy that put it in is PLENTY competent to install and set it up.
