:confused:Ok cars runs with a chip A
I got a new chip from Full Throttle w/anti theft
installed the chip and it stales, bob says probably anti-theft
go back to chip A and drive to work
read how to disable anti-theft and install chip and tried again
same issue start then stall
I am now thinking bad Neutral safety switch
I go back to Chip A and car starts up
I turn it off and try it in neutral and it starts
guess I will change out NSS later
return to work
come out to leave and key in try to start car and no crank.

I will check the voltage at the starter to see if I popped the fusible link on the purple wire tomorrow

I have picked up a new NSS but there is an additional single blade on the new switch. Is this correct and do I need to hook it up to something? Also is there a way to check the switch?

Any suggestions would be great I have to get the car back home.:confused:

Jack around with the shifter and column with chip A installed.... you'll probably find a spot where the nss is engaged and will start to get you home... don't know the specifics of the switch itself....

Or....

If that doesn't work.... if the connector to the nss is a 2 pin connector, jumper (short) the 2 pins together to make the switch up and it should start... if it's just a 1 pin connector, jumper it to ground and that should do it... I 'think' it's the former.... or.... manually activate the switch with a zip tie or something?? with it connected to the harness and then it should crank.....
