well, sort of a noob.
my first car was an 86 Regal Limited. I loved it. I loved it so much I never sold it. Eventually the 3.8 in it ceased to be, so i pulled it out and put a 383 stroker in it. This engine was out of my dad's chevelle project car, that he never did anything with. so that engine is in the car currently...with my little sister driving it. Now for the questions.
I did the swap myself, so I'm familiar with the car for the most part. Well I'm bored with modding my Cobalt SS, and i want to play with the regal again. I kinda miss the rwd v8 stuff.
So, how hard is it to swap an LSx engine into a g body? I've seen it done, but never really researched it. (may go boosted later, just dunno yet)
I'm gonna put a 4l60-e in the car, since i used to build them for a living. I'll figure that out later.
what rear end can i use, besides a 9inch? I'm not looking for a sub ten second car, just something fun to play with on the weekends. will a built 8.5" suffice?
