Hi Everyone,

I think I am going get real serious and get a Nitrous setup for my car.

What I would like to do is inject the Nitrous after the turbo to maximize the intercooling effect. And inject the extra fuel right after the carb just before the turbo.

My question is will I go temporally lean since the nitrous is being inject after the turbo and closer to the cylinders before the Fuel meet's up with it. The inject sights are only 6" apart.

Any thought’s?

Since I install the cowl hood scoop I can install the under the carb plate if needed.

(Remember my car is a carbed turbo with out an intercooler)

I would get a fogger nozzle & put it between the turbo & intake. The nos sprays through the fuel for better atomization. Spraying the nos after the fuel would lean it out for a second. You need a boost referenced fuel reg and a elec pump for enrichment. If fuel is injected after the turbo the fuel psi will need to rise w/boost just like on the efi cars. Hope this helps.

Yes it does, I was thinking of running F.I. pump for the fuel as a separate line.

i am running nitrous

i am running a 100 shot of nitrous on my turbo Buick, Nos sells kits That are made specifically for these cars they are relatively easy to install. and to be a little on the safe side i am running half a pound more pressure then they ask for it kills some horse power do to lean conditions better safe then sorry. My buick is sfi but i don't see how running this same kit would hurt anything. It tells you how much timing to pull which i have pulled with an msd retard box. So i hope this helps some as well. Thanks fellows, I'll be looking around for a used system. Unless Santa bring new one to me over the winter. We see.

I just got my real estate taxes in and the went up $500.00 So that extra $400 to $ 800 we get back from the feds, I have to give to the town.
