Ive found a 1986 buick regal with a 3.8 V6 non turbo. Im wondering is it hard to turbo them? also the regal is selling for $1000. Let me know!

Ummm..... forget it.

The N/A 3.8L is NOT the same 3.8L as the turbo cars.

Buy a factory Turbo Regal.

Agreed, other cars and be "Big Blocked" but these turbo 6's are to much fun!!!

Either go the V8 route or buy a turbo regal because you'll spend as much or more to convert the N/A to turbo.

I think Ill take the V8 route and buy a GN later on.

Smart move.

You can swap in a nice 350 with 350 HP & 400 Lb Ft and have alot of fun. You might need a trans too. I'd bet it has a TH-200 3 spd auto (junk) and more than likely a 2.78 open rear end (also junk). So, a posi carrier & 3.42-3.73 gears will be needed also.
