I'm putting new LT1 springs on the valves and noticed that apparently the exhaust valves don't have guide seals. Is that correct? Also the valve on the pass. side closest to the front end is the exhaust for no. 2 cylinder, right?
TIA, Rob

1) Factory Buick heads do not have exhaust seals.

2) The #2 cylinder is the first one on the left (facing the car). When looking at the spring/valve, you'll know if it's exhaust if 1) it doesn't have a seal on it, and 2) if it's alinged with the header. If it's aligned with the intake runner, then it's intake.

Hope this helps.
