info on a shift brake???

just kinda wondering what a shift brake is?? from what i see it locks automatically in manual 1st and releases as you shift to 2nd???
is this correct?? is this whats available for the 200r, i'm just used to lettin go of a button.
also what companies sell this t. brake for the 200r
