Initial Connection to FAST box

I just bought a 2nd FAST system. I've got one on a running Buick, and I bought a second for a NA Chevy small block. I've been using the DOS C-com on the Buick. I installed the Windows version that came with the new system on my my laptop.

The question is, will I screw anything up taking the Windows version out of Demo mode by connecting it to my Buick rather than the FAST box that the disk came with ?

Nope, this will be just fine. The software operates in demo mode until you communicate with an ECU for the first time, but the C-Com software isn't specific to one particular ECU. You may connect it to any ECU you choose with no trouble.
