Where can I buy one at??? Jeeeeeesh this car is driving me crazy. I can hear the injectors firing when you spin it over but no fire to the plugs. I have checked everything I know help!!!!!!!!
 
Called a noid light. Try Napa or your nearby fine automotive store. If you hear the injectors firing, is there a reason for the noid light? No fire to the plugs, I'm assuming that you've pulled a plug and checked for spark? What are your symptoms? What have you done so far? Do you have a SM? Any diagnosis hard/software? :confused:
 
yes I have a plug in a plug wire right now and no spark. I have changed the crank sensor, checked it with the no start tree on vortec but I don't have the noid light
You can hear the injectors firing when you spin it over but the plugs won't fire! I have tried a coil pack and module from a friends car and his ecm with no luck. I took the ground wires off and cleaned them, no luck. I have a scanmaster but its worthless unless the car is running really. I have cleaned all the connections to everything twice arrrrrrrr. Everything works, lights on dash, fuel pump, etc just no spark I am really just stuck now and its pissing me off to no end lol. Daniel Ray
 
When my car died, it was from a bad MAF sensor. Try swapping in a known good sensor. When they fail they can cause a no start condition

You had the plug grounded I hope, it won't fire without a path to ground. Also, is your check engine light on with key on, engine off? If it's not on you have a power problem, possibly even just a blown fuse.
 
tried diffrent maf no luck, yes I have gone thur that list what I can without a noid light but you can hear the injectors firing, yes I had the plug grounded lol I'm not that much of a greenhorn hahahaha . All lights are on including the check engine light when you turn the key on, fuel pump runs etc. Have checked the fuses 3 times and even checked the fuse panel with them out one at a time with a meter to be sure I did have power there going thur the fuses. Going to run uptown today and get another coil module just to be sure. Checked my coil and it was all around 13k ohms on each set. Anyone know of a good shop in georgia or north flordia that works on these cars? I do NOT need to keep spinning this thing on a fresh motor, at least I am running a roller cam so its not hurting the cam lobes to spin it at least. Daniel Ray
 
Here's one off the wall... When you installed the crank sensor, did you get the reluctor ring going through the correct groove in the sensor?
 
yes its in the far ring from the plug, arrrrrrrrr man this thing is killing me

The noid lights can be purchased at Advanced Auto or Napa. I know you have checked a bunch of stuff, but is the check engine light truning on when you turn the key switch?

I had a problem with mine and only started if you wiggled the crank sensor plug.

Also double check that there are no pinched wires between the motor and trans.
 
Its ALIVE [ insert sinester laugh here many times] LOL Man I am one happy camper guys!!!!!!!!!! Went uptown today and swapped my coil module out at advance auto parts [ thank god for lifetime thing on parts! ] Came back home and put it on WHAM fired right up!!!!!! Weird thing is mine was only a few months old on it before I pulled the motor and it was firing fine? We put itsav6's on and still no fire. His was running fine before we pulled his motor! Don't see how that both of them could go bad sitting on a shelf weird Daniel Ray
 
Man don't you know it!!!!!! Its going to kill me breaking it in and keeping my foot out of it! It should run like a scalded dog as I went all out on this one [ at least as far as my checkbook would let me lol ] SG1 block, billet caps, bottom end balanced, weisco piston 20 over, 210 210 roller cam with T&D roller rocker arms, new front cover and pump, GN1 aluminum heads, and all my other stuff that was on it. t63, 55lb injectors, aftermarket hat, 65mm body, liquid intercooler, mease uppipe, etc etc the list is to long to type it all lol. It had better scare me when I finally get on it!!!!! Thanks again to all that helped out and if anyone wants to open a shop that does good work on these cars you should check georgia out because we have NOONE here that I know about Daniel Ray :D
 
You went to a liquid intercooler? How? Why? Come on, don't spare the details! :D

Hey congrades on getting the Beast to life.I know how things can get kinda tough.I'm not in GA. but i am in SC and i work on all t-types/GN's.I have a car right that i'm pulling my hair out as well...I have no spark as well but i also have a few other issues like to power to pin D on the ALDL and a no SES light on either with key on.Have been going around checking this and that.Owner had a motor half ass installed and then i got the car with major wires cut missing etc....I'll get it just takes time and patience.Glad to see ya stuck it out.If you ever need anything call 803-286-5915,704-609-0558

Thanks Walter, you never know I might be ringing your phone one day! The liquid intercooler was on my car when I bought it thank goodness!!!!! Thats 2 grand I didn't have to spend lol. Don't let anyone tell you anything diffrent either It works GREAT!!!!! I was running 19-20lbs boost on pump gas all day with no knock to speak of. Later on I am going to put an igloo cooler in the trunk to run it thur with ice for the stealth look when I open the trunk lol It has the one piece downpipe on it, pitbull exhaust, moser axles, hot wire kit, dual pumps, line lock, lightning rod shifters that I just had to have because they look so cool lol, I put in an electric seat on the drivers side while it was down and yes I am spent out hahahaha . I am really looking forward to driving it again!!! I was going into boost DT's Daniel Ray
 
Lol, I think we're all emotional at some time or another like little kids. Love/hate relationship with our sixes. :p
