Hello, I have an 85 w/, 340 Hotwired, 30lb Green stripes, 2-1/2" cat back, gutted cat, Kenne Bell Ported Intake, Postons GN107T cam, adj fuel reg,, finishing the 86-87 ecm swap. Some other stuff I think. Bought it a while ago and now just getting into it for the track.

My question is what else can be done less tearing the motor apart, was wondering about the injectors-do the bigger one make more power? I need to get a new chip for my ecm so would like to get a set matched.

I am sure to discover more as I go but this is first step, I also got the scanmaster thing now gotta learn something new….

Get a bigger turbo and injectors. There is a TA33C turbo which increases CFM from around 390 to 700. Stock hot air housing with a bigger wheel. New- $900. Get sixty lb injectors and a new chip and be done with it. Next, get a Razor aky kit and turn up the boost. These should get you into high twelves or low thirteens. These are off the shelf modifications. If your goal is faster then you have to custom fit a bigger turbo from an 87. Just a few thoughts. Brad

Great, i will see what i can do for some cash and hope i can get going in a couple weeks, will let you know, may need to hunt for used stuff, i will keep my eyes open, thanks again, John.
