Ola and the other owner are the people would want to get a hold of.
As mentioned in this thread, Rick was pushed out and had nothing to do with their problems. It is kind of interesting how they went down hill after Rick left.
Not that anyone asked but I would have no hesitation to use Rick or his new company for anything.

Lots of guys got screwed on that deal. Some sent in Inovative controllers for updates and never got the back. The same for the turbos.

I had a 76mm DBB unit serviced by the guys at Forced Inductions.com. They did a great job and so far so good.

I hope my DBB 66 doesnt take a crap to soon.
I got it for free,But i still dont feel like buying a new one.
Whats the history of the life expectancy on these?

Sell it before its too late. Especially with your recent luck with these engines.

Here is my PROMPT reply from JZ at ForcedInductions.com to the obvious rebuilding and parts availability questions I asked in an email.

" We can pretty much repair most of the units. Only real problem is the bearing system (DBB) is hard to get parts for as when ITS went under they closed their accounts they had with the bearing manufactures and they will not sell to other manufactures such as us. Most of the parts though we can help as its mostly all standard Garrett parts.

Thanks

JZ "

I guess I'd sum that up as bad news/good news. :p

I guess your average oil seal replacement and rebalancing stuff and new wheels could be done easily by them.

Good riddance to some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Justin is a real piece of work.
FYI, I spoke to Chopper (Limit Eng.) at SEMA and it sounds like he's finally gonna start building Garrett dbb turbos.

Scott,

I have always wondered why Limit have done virtually no marketing
and have a web site that is cut and paste from old Garrett Marketing?
I would think that they would be able to do a lot more volume with a little marketing but maybe they don't want it?

I agree completely. Definitely the best customer service out there. I always drive my stuff down and hang out while he's doing it. :D
