If you have an Innovative WB, be advised the harness end of the cable that connects to the sensor is not so much as water resistant!.

Mine quit working, and when nothing seemed to correct it, I pulled the sensor out, and when I undid the connector water literally ran out of the connector. It'd only be in for 3 days, and the contacts are already heavily pited.

I'll be calling Innovative tomorrow with this info., but wanted to get it out-there so if any one has one permanently mounted that they know to avoid ANY water for the time being or uninstall it.

Thanks for the alert Bruce.
Any other news or findings on the performance of the LMI?
My main concern is the overheating issue. (I have read about placing the probe farther downstream, and the use of a heat shield ) Last I read you were playing with stuff in your truck, have you tried it on a GN yet?

General info here if anyone is interested:
Innovate has moved their forum from Yahoo to their own site.

Lots of reading, info, and updates.

For the 1 day I did get it to work it was reading dead on compared to my home-brew.

All my WB bungs are about in the location of where the cats would be.

I JUST got the new engine in the GN, and have a few lil items left to deal with. And the roads have been nothing but ice lately. But, it's all, to the stage of, real soon.

The fix, is that they're sending me a new cable and sensor.
The cure is me using RTV to plug up the open cavities.
They're aware of the problem, but haven't come up with a cure on their end.

Bruce, are they giving RTV the OK? I only ask because of the thread about any hint of WD-40 killing the sensors!

Most all of the RTV's now are supposedly sensor safe, but it never hurts to read the label. But, yes, you want to use the sensor safe versions.
