Maybe it's just me, but it sure doesn't look like he's going 250mph. The dashed lines are going by way too slow, and the oncoming cars don't seem to be whizzing by very fast.

Are you sure the speedo isn't showing Kilometers per hour?

Maybe it's just me...

EDIT: 250 kilometers per hour equals 155 miles per hour. It doesn't even look like he's going that fast.

It's not just you. I also raise the BS flag on that one. NO WAY that he is going that fast.

250 MPH?
Nope.

thou Discovery had a show where they showed a Turbo Huyusa went 240+.

Maybe I ought to tie my ecm bench into a scanmaster and do a 255 MPH recording.

In the truck that'll be towing my car to Vegas there will be a turbo Hayabusa. On Labor day weekend he won the fastest bike trophy that was based solely upon MPH through the traps. He took off the extended swing arm and sticky tire but should still run 140+. Bone stock those things would do almost 200. That vid does look lame but I don't doubt with the right sprockets(and balls) it could be done.

I hope you guys don't believe that.. The one-two shift was at 80 mph!! LOLOL. Yea sure . .

He needs to strap a GPS on next time so we will believe him :)

i have read before that he change the gear ratio.. He was doing about 160 -180mph.. not no 200 - 250 But that bike is fast.

Well, my friend has a 2002 Suzuki GSX1300 HAYABUSA and he has easily been up to 200 mph with just an aftermarket exhaust and everything else factory. He starts to panic after that. The factory tach on his bike is 220 mph. (REAL) That means no turbo. I believe both of these videos are real. I see it all the time at least with my friends bike he has done it a couple of times.

This is just my experience. The Hayabusa's are no joke. Named after the fastest Japanise Peregrin Falcon. This one is one of the few animals that can travel at about 300km in a dive.

The Hayabusa was first rumoured to exist during 1998. It was finally launched in Spain on the Catalunya circuit in April 1999. It joins the lists of top speed limit breaking bikes over the years. In fact it is the first production motorcycle to break the 300kph barrier ! The namer of the bike is reported to be Suzuki Product Planning group - Akihiko Muramatsu.

The bikes are definitely fast, no doubt. But that video is total crap. Look how slow he is obviously going at the end when it still says he's going 100 mph! And the 7 second sky wheelie way past 100 mph on takeoff is a joke.

Entertaining, but so is professional wrestling sometimes.

The second vid looks real. I don't think the first one is real. The lines are going by too slow for that mph. I like the second one with the sparks coming off the guys knee. That's cool.

well, the video is probably real, however the speed is not! The bike does not have stock gearing. the speedo runs of the front sprocket and when geared lower it spins faster. still peppy!

are busa's turbo stock? or do they ad the turbos?

im so confused, every vidio of a busa i see is "turbo".

my buddy with a gsxr told me they were N/A stock, and people ad the turbos. he even called up his R1 buddy on the spot and got the same answer.

i want to belive they are turbo stock. are they?

At my local track a guy has on that goes 174 in the 1/4 with alot more to go.He has a hard time getting this thing out of the hole.He will be 180 plus buy the end of the year.He drives it there too.The website is www.beaversprings.com look for 100mph club bike section.I think the top 20 bikes are suz. powered.

KillrV6,

Nope the Busa doesn't come from the factory with a turbo. For about $4,000 you can buy the kit to add one though.

As for the videos the second one is definitely the real deal. That turbo kit jumps the HP to the 400 range and there are a couple in the 600 HP range too.

So for about $20,000 there would be little, if anything on the road that could keep up with you :D
