I Installed a an 85 engine in my 83 T-Type, But the connector on the firewall does not fit, Do I need a complete new dash harness or can it be re-pinned, if not does anyone know where I can get one? I tried all the local ads and junkyards no luck. Any help appreciated!!!!

Go to gnttype.org. There is a pin out chart for the fuse block for the 84 to 87's. You will just need to trace down the power sources on your fuse block, and splice it to the 85 harness. If it is the same as my brothers 79 cutlass, you will have to tap 2 more key on power sources to the fuse block. I just used the water temp sender wire and the oil pressure sender in the connector, and spliced them to a key on port with an inline fuse from the back of the fuse block. We ran a separate fuel pump switch, so the computer doesn't control it.

Go to technical info under the resourses bar. Then go to the technical articles under electrical, wiring & switches, with the title of wiring harness connector diagrams.
