I am installing my 90/10 drag shocks and am new to it. The rear was very easy ;). Now how do I do the fronts? Is it hard, easy? I want to install them. I am not worried about alignment because I am taking them in as soon as I get them installed. But I DO want to save money by installing them myself. Anyone have a how to? Thanks!!!
You guys are the best.

Scott,
When installing shocks an aligment is not necessary. If you found the rears easy, the fronts are a piece of cake.2 Bolts at the bottom of the LCA and one(or 2 if double nutted) by the upper control arm.If your shocks are way worn the shock piston may spin making it hard to remove the nut.

Good luck

I too have never replaced front shocks, so I have a "better safe than sorry" question. Is it the front shock that provides the travel restriction on the coil spring popping out of the A-arm? (like the rear axle springs). Or will the front springs stay in place with the shocks removed and the A-arms allowed to hang? Those springs would be deadly if they pop out ...

No need to worry about the front springs popping out. Just have at it. This is probably one of the easiest things to change on our cars!

Do yourself a favor and get a shock absorber socket. It fits the top of the shock. Trying to use ViceGrips is insane.
