I was unable to find my answer using the search function, so here goes:

I'm entertaining the idea of installing a 200r4 in my 77 Trans Am with 400 pontiac engine. The cables and all don't seem that hard, but the lockup stuff leaves me scratching my head. Can I make the lockup convertor operate normally in my TA? If so, how?

The tranny is coming from a Type-T and I do have access to the whole car. I realize this is a Buick board, but lets face it. You guys know these trannies better than anyone.

Lockup

You can wire your lock up convertor so that it locks up with a switch in the car. Ground black wire to the case and send positive-side voltage to the red wire. Real simple but with some trannies internal wiring needs to be changed so no pressure relays are in the circuit.

There is a lot on the board about wiring up lock up, try your search again for more details.
