installing billet girdle

When installing a girdle do you need to have machine work done or does it just bolt in?(it's an A.T.R. girdle)

Need to do a line bore so it's not a bolt it on & go item.

I thought that you had to cut down the tops of the mains or something. I could be way off, someone here must know

Yes you do have to mill the main caps and line hone the mains.

And grind the girdle for pickup tube extension (if ATR supplies one like RJC does). and grid the girdle for oil dipstick tube clearance. And buy lots of RTV
