What kind of Insurance Rates are you guys paying for your GN's? Even with a perfect driving record for 6 years, I'm still having to pay like 1400 for the Camaro. I'm hoping if I get a GN this will go down, can you guys give me ballpark figures? Thanks

Just FYI, what everyone else pays is completely irrelevant, because insurance is based on so many factors (one of the major ones being locaton). Try multiple insurance companies, do online quotes, as progressivebmx said esurance.com, geico.com, progressive.com etc... get as many quotes as you can and I'm pretty sure you'll find a decent price.

I recently sold my GN but when I had it, I paid $167 every 6 months. I used Nationwide. My Vette costs $477 which is the same amount of my Lightning and GN combined.
No accidents or tickets. Live in PA.

I have called Grundy and the agent (Lisa) said the car has to be 25 years old. What am I doing wrong??

Called them again and found out that in NC (& a couple of other states) the vehicle HAS to be 25 years old.

They consider a GN an "Exotic" not a "Classic" She may have checked the wrong information for you. They were willing to insure mine but limited my miles so I bagged them. Lots of GN's are insured through Grundy. She was wrong.

I was told mileage wasn't limited just the way I use it. I can't drive it to work or run daily errands which I wouldn't do anyways.

Plus, the previous poster is right. GNs are labled as "special interest" or "exotic." Wow, I own an exotic car. :D
