Intake inferance

What's a better intake to run on a street motor with an edelbrock 500cfm carb: the STOCK 4.1 aluminum, or the edelbrock performer?

I'm not a big fan of the Eldelbrock carb but I think you'll be happier with their intake than the 4.1. Personally I'd run the modified 4.1 intake and either a Q-jet or a Holley spread bore, but that's just me.
