how's the airflow distribution on that butchered intake?

no horrible........throw a rjc power plate and it does wonders.
Back in the day my 86 intake was flowed against one of the JS modded intakes
and another intake and the 86 stocker flowed about the same as the JS intake.
Considering the fab work involved in the JS intake, the 86 is the best bang
for the buck by far, IMHO. The flow results is why I forgot the ported 84/85
intake, the JS intake and all the rest. the modde upper plenum flows as well
as any other avaible upper plenum, including the stock 86/87 upper.
If you want more flow, do the 86/87 intake and forget the rest, IMHO.
Bottom line, do what ever pleases you, it is your car and your $ & your time,
spend it however you want.

im there with you buddy like i said working on getting the intake first. i know intake is the biggst issue with hot airs is what i have learned. also the turbo and no intercooler. but yur set up is to die for. im going for it no turning back. im going to see if i can put up a wanted ad for a intake thats already done. and just buy it. again you set up is sick and it reminds me that there are HA lovers out there. all my IC friends always bad mouth my car thats its trash., and im tired of hearing it. im going to do what i want like you said my CAR MY TIME MY MONEY

saw that to I was next in line but some one bought it... smh... it never fails I am going call gbody on Monday see if they got a used one for cheap.
