Intercooled, Alky or both???

Hey fellas I've read plenty of posts about alky vs intercooling. I have a couple of questions of my own. 1. Is alky safe for higher mileage engines let's say around 100-160k. 2. I have a spearco intercooler that came with my car, is it worth the hassle to have the piping made for it? Or is it a waist of time? Any feedback is greatly appreciated, thanks

I ran the spearco I/c in the stock 86/87 location for a few years. Picked 5 mph in the 1/4 with no other changes other than the I/c.

Look up member MIADE2D. He has pushed his SPEARCO to 10.97 with all the old stuff that many Hot Air guys toss in the trash... Spearco intercooler is good for a 1 sec off your times.
