I know there are guys on here who have put intercoolers on there hot air cars with the turbo position unchanged and the intake manifold unmodified. Could someone with a setup discribed please post some pictures of there setup so that others like myself who are getting ready to try to incorperate an intercooler can get some plumbing ideas.

The Spearco intercooler was my first mod. Plumbing went through the hole in the core support. For my Ford intercooler I routed it on either side of the radiator but the easiest with most FM ICs would be under the core support like the later cars. No cutting required. The return plumbing goes along the driver side fender and turns behind the brake booster and makes a straight shot into the intake manifold elbow. Don't know if it would work if you have the PM brakes though. If you do a search under Ford intercooler pictures you should be able to find mine, they're still here. Both setups I have is with the turbo in the stock position and would work with a stock manifold. The most important thing though is moving the throttlebody to the pressure side. It has to be there for the car to run right.
