made some passes lastnight on new turbo set-up, found a interesting thing. started the tuneon 50/50 mix gas at 17-18 psi at 20 degrees. no knock was sensed with the esc retard, so i put 3 degrees in it expecting some mph out of it and it slowed down about 5 mph. i found this very odd i always assumed the turbo motor liked the timing, at least my old chip set-up was this way the better the gas the more timing it gave it and boost. i new 20 degrees was safe at this boost but i put 19 degrees in it and had my best mph of the night at 19 psi in 2-3 gear. this new gtq turbo from aggressive performance really likes the boost one pound gave me2mph. these were all data logged passes so i could seethis to be true. my question is though does this sound right with the timing? very cool here about 30-35 that night cool inlet temp. what do you guys think?
