What is the color of the plastic interior moldings. I bought a grey ****er handle and its way darker than the rest of thre inside. I seen a pic of a mint 84 and it looked almost like a tan color? what is the colors name so i can look for new moldings

Where did you get the shifterhandle from I bought one from Postons and it matched up pretty well.

i also got mine from postons I ordered the grey one and its regular grey ya know. the interior is sun dried from thr t-tops cus the gut i bought it from had it parked outside all the time in the sun. so the interior is kinda faded. but i dont think its faded enough for that much diference in color.

Sand grey...we have a different int. color than the 85-87's.

You could go with a handle from BFH, or if you want stck and find one let me know, mine broke at the last trip to the track.

Bweavy is a good source for 84 parts, 0-60 is another.

Happy Hunting.

How do you figure you are all alone in the hot air world? Just cause Jeremery jumped ship.... LOL

Yeah good point, Yno has an I/C on his car, so I guess it's just us.

You guys spend way more time than I on sorting out these things so I think of you as tuners more than the poor smuck like me who just flogs his car and begs people to help him.

After a year of dissapointment with the V3 Jeremy took my car for the weekend and called an hour later to tell me it was fixed. My dumbass didn't check all the vacc. lines and there was a pretty good size port unplugged in the back of the manifold. I was about two weeks from putting it up for the year and just screwing around with the Ty.

Now I have to figure out a way to get the GN-Ty, and my girls recently acquired GTP to M-7. 8:00 is awfully early on a Sat.

The damn SMC is junk so till I get it out and back to Steve I'm buying 3.39 race fuel all the time. I just can't stand 15 psi when 22 is soooo much fun.

I there anywhere I can get 100 oct. no-lead in GR? I'd like some for M-7 in the Ty and GTP.

TIA

If you are really coming and need it there is a place on 44th by the new mall that has it, when can bring 12 gallons. Let me know. Should have the 85 ready. I know nothing like taking all summer. Still have the 12 to accomplish again but the midwest challenge let us know it's running much better. We went back to a stock intake ported. Details will be given in person. I should have the correct converter and tranny set up and will be running at least 23# of boost with more to happen. I run 110 in it all the time. Bosch o2 sensors are at Auto zone and 18.00 each, thus rather then risk knock I just run racing fuel. yeah it costs more but the added insurance of having it in there when tuning is worth it in my book. Karl's is being torn down and will be going in to the machinest here in a week or so for his rebuild. Can't wait to have them both out next year. You might not recognize the 85 with it's lack of badges and new body work, just don't look too close at the paint. You really need to do M-7 this is a lot of fun and who knows if you let me run your car maybe it can get tuned while you are there. Did have a lot of people talking about the ole hot air at the midwest challenge, since it was the only one there. Too bad about the alcohol kit, what was the issue? I'm sure Steve will make it right. I hope he is doing okay since his accident. Well you better get your sorry a$$ up and be at the event or expect lots of hate email... LOL

buick and pontiac event at Milan October 12th gates open at 7:30 am. This is also a lot of fun and you can hang with the Michigan GS club.
