Interior dash area screws, two types.

Hello,

My car came to me in pieces including the dash, speedo. I have found two different screw types, what goes where? Thanks

I can't give a specific answer to your question, but generally GM installed the top 2 screws in your picture (more course threaded) directly into plastic. The two bottom screws in the picture (more fine threaded) were screwed into a receiver of varying types, usually a metal clip or plastic tab.

Thanks. So the speedo to the plastic would be the course and plastic to the dash would be the finer thread. They both seem to fit in either location.
